Take a behind-the-scenes look at one of Louisiana's newest, most advanced medical-training facilities: The Simulated Environment Teaching Hospital (SETH), at Our Lady of the Lake College near Essen Lane!
SETH has tons of cool tech (literally), and the stars of SETH are the robotic "sim patients": lifelike mannequins that cost as much as Mercedes-Benzes! You'll get to feel the robot's pulses, hear them talk, and, if you can handle it, even witness a simulated birth!
Baton Rouge is a growing leader in hospital innovation-and high-tech facilities like SETH are why. Tech Tuesday takes place just one day after SETH's ribbon cutting ceremony, so you'll be one of the first members of the public to see the facility from the inside.
So come have a few drinks, network, and see the robots in action!
