In sneakers, wheelchairs and strollers, hundreds of Baton Rouge area residents will take steps toward a cure for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis on Saturday, October 29: The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) will host its fifth annual Take Steps
fundraising walk that day at Highland Road Park, located at 14024 Highland Road in Baton Rouge. Registration and check in begins at 2:00 p.m., with a 3:00 p.m. start time to cover a course of about one mile around Highland Road Park.
All walkers will then enjoy games, activities, and food at a short festival that celebrates the courage of patients and the support of families and friends, sponsors, fundraising teams, healthcare professionals, and volunteers in a private area within the park.
All walkers are encouraged to donate $25.
